1). Reporting Regulatory Matters & Tariff Specialist

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

  • As a Reporting Regulatory Matters and Tariffs Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving regulatory compliance and tariff analysis for Ikeja Electric.
  • You will be responsible for interpreting tariff methodologies, conducting financial modeling , and preparing regulatory reports to support decision making.

Responsibilities
You’ll contribute to:

  • Developing and simulating tariff models to ensure accurate revenue forecasting and alignment with MYTO methodologies.
  • Reviewing MYTO model assumptions, identifying inconsistencies, and preparing formal responses to NERC.
  • Expanding tariff models to incorporate monthly projections, ATC&C losses, and load distribution by customer category.
  • Preparing and submitting tariff design structures that align with both regulatory requirements and business objectives.
  • Supporting compliance by maintaining regulatory filing records and engaging with Market Operators and NBET on billing matters.
  • Analyzing financial implications of load allocation reports and ensuring adherence to market settlement guidelines.
  • Forecasting five year tariff paths under various scenarios and advising internal stakeholders on regulatory impact.

Minimum Requirement

  • This opportunity is a middle level management role The role involves supporting regulatory reporting, tariff modeling and compliance across finance and regulatory teams

Education Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Accounting or Finance

Work Experience:

  • 5 – 7 years of experience in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and tariff analysis.
  • Professional qualification in accounting (ACA/ACCA) is mandatory.

2). Distribution Sub-station Operator

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

  • The DSO is responsible for the safe operation, inspection, and routine maintenance of distribution substations and associated equipment, in line with regulatory and company safety standards.
  • Ensures optimal network performance, effective load management, and timely reporting to support reliable power supply.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain substation equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct routine inspections of control rooms and switchyards to ensure operational integrity and security.
  • Perform switching operations and issue protective tags following established safety clearance protocols.
  • Monitor load changes and make adjustments without direct supervision; report abnormalities.
  • Maintain accurate logs of operations, outages, and weather conditions.
  • Prepare operational and performance reports as required.
  • Adhere to quality, health, and safety standards.
  • Assist with fault analysis and escalate issues when necessary.

Qualifications

3). Corporate Performance Lead

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Purpose

  • Responsible for monitoring the performance of all the departments against their scorecard/ KPIs.

Role Accountabilities

  • Coordinate with various departments of IE to obtain inputs for KPIs/ MIS
  • Respond (in writing/in person) to MIS queries/clarifications.
  • Provide high-level advice to the Chief Executive Officer and Corporate Management Team on all aspects of performance management, review organisational / partnership assessment in line with emergent thinking on a business context.
  • Review the alignment between departmental targets and individual targets; make changes in the KPI parameters, if required etc.
  • Facilitate the process of translating the updated strategy into the scorecard map and objectives.
  • Facilitate and coach the executive team in selecting targets and identifying the strategic initiatives required to achieve targeted performance on the scorecard measures.
  • Conduct training and education courses on the Scorecard management system, and serves as the central organisational resource to coach, educate, train, and assist management team about the scorecard methodology and tools.
  • Coordinate and collect data from the metric owners, staff or departments on monthly basis.
  • Manage and maintain the scorecard software and develop necessary reports for the CEO and BOD.
  • Coordinate with the enterprise’s internal audit department to assure that data reporting processes are valid, reliable, and auditable.
  • Comply with Quality Management System / Occupational Health & Safety requirements including objectives and applicable regulations relating to assigned jobs
  • Perform other duties as requested by the MD/ CEO and Head of department.

Minimum Requirements

  • First degree in Accounting/Finance or any numerate discipline
  • Post Graduate Degree
  • 6-7 years relevant work experience in similar role with advanced/ extensive knowledge and mastery of relevant theories, principles and complex techniques gained through broad experience or special development.
  • Ideally consulting/project management experience will be an added advantage
