1). Product Manager (Onboarding)

Location: Lagos

Role overview

  • We’re searching for an experienced Product Manager to join the Growth team at Kuda. As a member of the Product Growth function, you will be responsible for owning the development and execution of our product strategy for customer onboarding. As a Product Manager in Growth, you’ll partner with our Growth (Marketers), Design, Engineering, Analytics, Data Science and Core Product teams to create a roadmap full of features, products, experiments and understanding which will help Kuda to grow sustainably.
  • You’ll work with a high-performing, entrepreneurial, and product-focused group of engineers and designers, in a highly collaborative and fun environment.

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the onboarding funnel metrics, utilising these to direct your roadmap, share performance with C-Suite executives and spot day to day issues
  • Develop and execute a product strategy for onboarding, focused on identifying pain points and prioritising opportunities for growth and innovation
  • Together with our Product Lead for Growth, you will create a clear vision for how we execute and continuously improve our onboarding journeys.
  • Own the full product discovery and delivery process from identifying the problem to ideating/research to delivering and then iterating
  • Develop, prioritise and regularly review your roadmap ensuring your key metrics align with Kudas OKRs.Then, build consensus, and coordinate with a team of engineers, designers, and analysts to ship high-quality experiences.
  • Build world-class growth focused experiments and features using data, research and collaboration to lead your thinking. Define methods and metrics for identifying success and failure
  • Utilise, and build on, our best in class Growth Stack to understand problems and evaluate changes you make
  • Coordinate resources, and create project timelines, to ensure on-time delivery with the highest quality
  • Deliver features and products that will create amazing user experiences and validate these with customers

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in product management specifically working on onboarding journeys
  • You will have a strong understanding of the mobile ecosystem.
  • Test & Learn Mindset; you are focused on failing and learning fast using experiments and data to lead the way
  • Making an Impact: you have a proven track record delivering impactful changes
  • A data-driven self-starter who can work with the other product managers in the group to own the onboarding funnel metrics – obsessed with bringing on more, higher quality, new customers
  • Data Confident; you are comfortable using, manipulating and analysing data to help understand problems or measure outcomes
  • Bias for Execution; you focus on defining the right MVP, making difficult trade-offs, and shipping effective features

2). Product Manager (Data & Platforms)

Role overview

  • We’re searching for an experienced Data Product Manager to join the Growth team at Kuda. As a member of the Product Growth function, you will be responsible for owning the development and execution of our growth data product strategy.

  • 5+ years of experience in Data/ Data Platforms/ Analytics with at least 2-3 years Product Management
  • Master of data, you are more than comfortable using, managing, manipulating and analysing data to help understand problems or measure outcomes across any product or service
  • You have designed, built and implemented complex product data events/ tracking plans which works effectively across multiple different tools (visualisation, automation etc).
  • Test & Learn Mindset; you are focused on failing and learning fast using experiments and data to lead the way
  • Understanding of Data Lifecycle (Business Understanding, Data Analysis, Data Acquisition, Data Governance and Monitoring)
  • Growth/ Data Stack; extensive experience working with behavioural analytics platforms (Mixapnel, Amplitude) and
  • Making an Impact: you have a proven track record delivering impactful changes
  • Bias for Execution; you focus on defining the right MVP, making difficult trade-offs, and shipping effective features
  • Exceptional Curiosity; you’re unafraid to ask questions, tinker, and learn to help drive product success
  • You will have a strong understanding of the mobile ecosystem.
