1). Product Support Sales Representative – Marine

Location: Lagos

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Visiting customers in the Region (old and new), prospecting for parts, unit sales and service opportunities and as well seek for regular patronage.
  • Sell and implement product support programs such as CTS, REMAN, SOS, etc. on a regular basis.
  • Prepare relevant quotations and/or tenders (accurate and complete to requirement), present to customers, arrange follow-up activities as desired, and ensure conversion to affective sales.
  • Ensure prompt delivery of parts or services (including backordered items) and corresponding invoices to engender customer satisfaction and early payment as they fall due.
  • Preparation and implementation of weekly call plan and corresponding summary report.
  • Preparation and updating customers’ profile list.
  • Keep abreast of product/service information from Caterpillar and related suppliers and ensure adequate dissemination to concerned employees and customers.
  • Promptly and effectively resolve customer complaints such as to retain their goodwill and confidence in the product, services and the dealership at large.
  • Implement relevant marketing and promotional programs as they arise.
  • Arrange and implement relevant training programs for Parts office staff and customer representatives.

Requirements

  • HND / B.Sc. Engineering. WASC with 10 years working experience in Technical Sections of MNL or similar company. Or OND/NCE (Technical) with 3 years.

2). Mechanical Engineer

Location: Lagos

Job Outline

  • Responsible to Carryout SPE Designs and Supervision.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop drawing of SPE, Site Layout, P&ID.
  • Soundproofing of CAT Generators (Customized and Containerized)
  • Fabrication processes
  • Ensure that technicians’ complete deliverable as scheduled
  • Prepare requisitions for mechanical material procurement.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Supervise mechanical fabrications related to CSD mechanical.
  • Prepare material production and journals through Axapta
  • Receives order from PS (Power System) through TM (Technical Manager) and prepare Gantt chart, BOQ mechanical calculations with standard specifications for mechanical jobs.
  • Carry out site inspection and installations for SPE

Requirements

  • B.Sc / B.Eng. / HND in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience mechanical/design jobs
  • AutoCAD, PDMS, Primavera P6.

3). Aftermarket Solutions Consultant

Location: Lagos

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build, Drive & Maintain positive Sales Funnel and Continuously Manage Pipeline & Opportunities
  • To attend meetings with potential Clients to determine technical and business
  • requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution
  • Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes
  • Deliver training on solutions and provide product support to channel partners and internal stakeholders
  • Work with Product Management to feedback on issues with current products and provide input around new products
  • Builds productive relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork by keeping colleagues updated on activities
  • To structure and produce compelling sales proposals/commercial and technical documentation outlining the cost savings and business benefits to customers
  • Develop a clear comprehensive analysis of all competitors across the group within the Wear parts industry
  • Achieve Annual Revenue & GP Targets for Wear parts products.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years work experience. 2 years hands-on and 3 years sale”ommercial is preferred.
  • Previous exposure to Product Management functions.
  • Must have worked previously with wear parts either in a technical or commercial/sales role.
  • Hands-on service experience.
  • Good communicator; Attention to details; Proficient in the use of MS Excel; Negotiation skills.
  • Engineering technical qualifications or similar experience.

4). Sales Executive – Machine

Location: Lagos

Job Outline

  • Responsible for achieving or exceeding agreed sales targets for the Company’s range of Machines/Lift Truck products within Nigeria Territory

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Obtain orders that meet or exceed agreed targets and negotiate equipment sales into high valued projects.
  • Ensure that full payments are received for all units sold while all necessary sales documents are adequately prepared.
  • Arrange visits to existing and prospective customers to ensure maximum coverage of the territory.
  • Aggressively promote the companvs products within the catchment area and win more prospects there from.
  • Provide product related technical assistance and advice to customers and prospects.
  • Obtain and communicate information relating to the market and competition as appropriate.
  • Maintain good corporate reputation and effective communication between our clients/customers and MNL Management.
  • Perform any other related duties as may be required by the Machine Sales Manager — North & West.

Requirements

  • B.Sc / B.Eng. / HND in Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ Sales experience. Experience in an Engineering / Construction and Material Handling Equipment company will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to drive with a valid drivers’ license.

5). Sales Executive – Power System

Location: Lagos

6). Internal Sales Representative

Location: Lagos

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contact customers to present multi-brand parts and services and answer all technical and commercial inquiries
  • Inform customers by phone about new product offerings
  • Participate in quotations preparation, terms of payment for his/her supervisor or manager’s review and approval
  • Present relevant technical publications as appropriate to customers and explain benefits advantages of the multi-brand products, with comparison to OEM and OE products
  • Follow up on opportunities and quotes to maximize sales and results
  • Assist with the solution and resolution of customer complaints raised
  • Report all lost sales of parts and service to supervisor manager and to ensure such lost sales are appropriately entered into dealer system (Salesforce)
  • Ensure there are no overdue debt on customers’ parts and service account _
  • Keep good control of customer list and keep updating customer profiles and population in Salesforce or any existing dealer marketing information system
  • Report any prime product sales leads to his her supervisor, manager or the prime product manager
  • Perform any other related duties as required by product support sales management

Requirements

  • BSc in Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in the industry (sales, marketing & technical experience).
  • Good written and spoken English. Interpersonal and communication skills with leadership skills and ability to take initiative.
