1). Social Media Manager

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Summary

  • As a Social Media Handler, you will be responsible for crafting engaging content, managing social media accounts, and implementing strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • You will work closely with internal teams to ensure a consistent and compelling voice across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write, edit, and publish engaging posts for various social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Select appealing images and videos to complement text and enhance visual appeal.
  • Optimize social media posts (language, tone, and message) to align with target audience behaviors.
  • Strategically grow and increase the followership base on all Nairametrics social media platforms.
  • Respond promptly and accurately to questions and comments on social media pages.
  • Update social media pages with compelling company news and updates.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to create advertising posts, such as promotions for events, open roles, and product releases.
  • Apply advertising techniques to boost brand awareness, such as organizing promotions and competitions.
  • Track and report on social media insights, including traffic, engagement, shares, and conversion rates.
  • Use analytics to refine strategies and enhance performance.
  • Network with clients and industry professionals to build relationships and enhance the brand’s presence.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Media Lead and other teams for alignment and consistency.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Digital Media Lead.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manageror similar role.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Ability to analyze metrics and create performance reports.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to produce engaging content.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva) is a plus.

2). HR Manager

  • This role includes overseeing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, policy compliance, and compensation programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and execute innovative HR strategies in alignment with the company’s objectives.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.
  • Employee Relations: Cultivate a positive work environment by managing employee engagement initiatives, resolving conflicts, and promoting inclusivity.
  • Performance Management: Oversee performance appraisal systems and design professional development programs to enhance productivity.
  • Policy and Compliance: Ensure adherence to Nigerian labor laws and company policies, with ongoing updates to HR practices as needed.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Design competitive compensation packages and manage benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.

Qualifications

  • BSc Degree

Salary
N400, 000 – N500,000 monthly.

3). Video Editor/Cinematographer

Key Responsibilities
Video Editing & Post-Production:

  • Edit video content for websites, social media, and YouTube, ensuring consistency with Nairametrics’ brand and style.
  • Incorporate visual effects, motion graphics, and sound design using industry-standard software.

Collaboration & Creativity:

  • Work closely with the creative team to develop and execute video content ideas.
  • Contribute creatively to storyboarding and content strategy.

Cinematography:

  • Film and capture high-quality footage using professional cameras and equipment.
  • Utilize cinematography skills to enhance lighting, framing, and overall video aesthetics.

Project Management:

  • Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • Ensure all deliverables maintain high-quality production standards.

Education & Experience 

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification.
  • At least three years in video editing, cinematography, and post-production.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and other relevant software.
  • Strong understanding of motion graphics, sound design, and visual storytelling.
  • Expertise in lighting, framing, and professional camera operation.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative mindset and attention to detail.

Salary

  • N200,000 – N300,000 / month.
