1). Senior Quality Inspection – Offshore
Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Inspects and approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
- Approves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work.
- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizes re-work and waste, and inputs data into quality database.
- Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements, and calling for repairs.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
- Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Experience
- 8 years minimum recent experience in Quality Inspection; multi-discipline related to construction of process plant(s), onshore or offshore, with:
- Preferred 2 years site construction experience (Such as welder, welding foreman, structural foreman, field engineer).
- Evidence of training in structural inspection is required. CWI, CSWIP or equivalent Certification(s) is mandatory.
- Knowledge of industry structural codes and standards.
- Knowledgeable in reading structural drawings. Must be proficient in common PC software (MS Word; MS Excel; Lotus Notes; etc.).
- BOSIET / FOET and current Offshore Medical Certificate
- Qualified to travel offshore.

2). Principal Technical Expert – Offshore Installation and Construction Analysis
Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of authority on offshore installation and construction techniques, methodologies, and best practices.
- Stay updated on technological advancements, industry standards, and emerging methodologies related to offshore installation and construction.
- Conduct detailed analysis and review of installation methods, ensuring that they are feasible, safe, and efficient.
- Evaluate the design of offshore structures to ensure they are optimized for installation and construction processes.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive installation and construction strategies for offshore projects.
- Optimize installation sequences to ensure efficiency and reduce downtime
- Identify potential hazards and risks associated with installation and construction activities.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
- Work closely with contractors, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and clients to ensure alignment in installation and construction objectives.
- Address and resolve any technical challenges or disputes arising during the installation and construction phase.
- Provide on-site technical supervision during critical installation and construction activities.
- Offer real-time problem-solving and decision-making support in case of unexpected challenges or issues.
- Ensure meticulous documentation of installation and construction plans, methodologies, and processes.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining the progress, challenges, and outcomes of installation and construction activities.
Experience
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience
- Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution. with a minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience in the offshore industry, especially in installation and construction of offshore structures or systems.
- A professional engineer’s license can be advantageous.
- Mastery of offshore installation software tools and simulation packages relevant to the field. Familiarity with equipment and methodologies used in offshore installation and construction. Certifications related to offshore safety, project management, or specific offshore engineering techniques can be beneficial. Strong skills in analyzing complex engineering problems, devising effective solutions, and understanding the nuances of offshore installation challenges.
- Ability to present complex installation strategies and outcomes to various stakeholders, from technicians to top management. Experience in managing large-scale offshore installation projects, ensuring completion within time, scope, and budget constraints. Familiarity with international standards and best practices related to offshore installation, such as those from ISO.

3). Principle Quality Engineer Inspector
Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Establish and manage the internal audit program to verify implementation of and compliance with the QMS. Identify non-compliance and ensure appropriate action is taken to address the issues identified.
- He/she must be able to Manage quality during fabrication of manifold, pipeline end termination, SPM and assembly and testing of Christmas trees and ensure completion of project within cost and schedule.
- Managing diverse work force of different nationalities.
- Ensure and verify implementation the Quality Management Systems in compliance with the Quality Policy, Quality Assurance Manual and applicable Standards;
- Review and approval of quality deliverables
- Review and identify where quality requirements and quality cost savings can be added and/or amended to existing projects.
- Review and approval of contractor quality assurance/quality control procedures
- Follow-up of inspection and test plans activities;
- Review and approval of welding procedures specifications, witness and approval of welding procedures qualification tests, NDT, post weld heat treatment, coating, pressure testing procedures;
- Coordinate and/or perform quality inspections and reviews of documentation on critical equipment;
- Identifies and manage deployed QA/QC personnel assigned to the project team.
- Audits of Contractors facilities, equipment, quality systems;
- Audits of NDT contractors facilities in respect with NNRA safety requirements;
- Follow-up and assessment of contractor quality performance for the project duration
- Ensure that the processes for identification and correction of fabrication deficiencies (RFIs, NCRs, etc) are followed.
- Ensure that the requirements of the project’s Materials Traceability process are met;
- Manage important interfaces and work cooperatively with a variety of related disciplines on the project
- Document own QA/QC activities for reference purposes.
- Review of project final quality documentation packages;
- Consider all fabrication and construction activities from a safety point of view. Intervene in the case of clearly unsafe acts, or elevate to safety professionals, where appropriate.
Experience
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in implementing Project Quality Management systems in the Oil and Gas Industry. Good knowledge of quality management processes in engineering, procurement, construction, and installation and information management. Experience in contractor management, especially those involved in the construction of offshore and onshore production facilities.
- BSc in Engineering related discipline
- Experience with facilitating efforts to resolve interface issues and coordination of multi-party QA objectives.
- High level of construction knowledge, skill and experience
- Excellent communication, strategy/planning skills
- BOSIET / FOET and current Offshore Medical Certificate
- Qualified to travel offshore.

4). Lead Marine QA/QC Inspection Surveyor
Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities
- Undertake classification / certification and statutory surveys and inspections of vessel according to rules and regulations
- Conduct inspections of vessels to identify potential structural, mechanical, or electrical problems
- Perform surveys on new and used vessels to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Inspect vessels to determine their condition, value, and seaworthiness
- Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, including recommendations for repairs, replacements, or upgrades
- Consult with vessel owners and operators to discuss survey results and provide guidance on necessary repairs or maintenance
- Monitor vessel construction and repair to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations
- Work closely with client to ensure all survey / inspection reports (including survey certificates) are factual, objective and submitted within the stipulated format and timeframe.
- Keep up to date with new rules, regulations and technical information or process disseminated through internal communication.
- Participate in meetings (both internal and external) as required.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of time & expense sheets
Experience
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience Marine Cartographic certification experience with Oil Servicing Company. With Demonstrated ability to use Offshore Survey Equipment such as Magnetometer, Side Scan Sonar and other related Offshore Sea Bed Survey Equipment.
- BSc in Engineering related discipline
- BOSIET / FOET and current Offshore Medical Certificate
- Qualified to travel offshore.
