1). Backend Developer (NYSC)
Location: Gwarimpa, Abuja (FCT)

Job Overview
- We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Entry-Level Backend Developer to join our team.
- In this role, you will work closely with our developers and product team to build and improve the backend infrastructure of our platform.
- If you have a solid foundation in programming, a keen interest in backend development, and a desire to grow your skills in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using Python.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Troubleshoot, debug and resolve technical issues.
- Work with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to manage data efficiently.
- Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of the backend infrastructure.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of Python.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Basic knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and query optimisation.
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Salary
N1,800,000 – N2,400,000 annually.
