Job Description

  • To grow and develop insurance premium in order to deliver profitable revenue streams to the Business and Group.
  • The Job holder will prospect and manage Corporates, including Insurance Brokers as channels in business development.
  • Providing tactical input into Unit strategy/ies that will enhance the Group’s vision to be the leading end to end financial solutions provider.
  • This will include cross sell to customers of the Group, potential customers from outside the Group and developing new market frontiers.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a minimum of a B.Sc Degree in any discipline
  • Professional qualification in insurance would be an added advantage
  • Minimum of a 3-5 years’ experience in the Insurance industry

2). Banker, Private

Job Description

  • To grow, maintain and retain a portfolio of private banking customers in line with the segment value propositions, related initiatives and activities aimed at creating value for the client and the bank.

Job Responsibilities

  • Proactively promote a relationship-based offering through a primary point of contact, which meets the client expectations by providing personalized financial solutions in line with the client value proposition
  • Restructures debt for efficiencies through debt consolidation, thereby bringing a customer’s asset base under one roof
  • Adhere to sound account management principles for optimal credit portfolio management execution (i.e., reduced excesses, unauthorised overdrawn accounts and overdue reviews).
  • Analyse client’s financial information and formulates solutions on how to respond to a client’s needs and requirements accordingly.
  • Prepare and submit quality credit applications for evaluation and/or approval by Credit, where required or oversees the preparation of credit applications. Conducts credit reviews as and when required.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree in any Business or Commerce related field.

Experience

  • 5 -7 years experience in sales, service, relationship management, credit applications and financial acumen (i.e., proven sales track record in the Financial service industry.)
