1). Supply Clerk (Expendables)
Location: Abuja
Duties
- Basic Function: This incumbent manages the delivery, issuance, storage, disposal and inventory control of expendable supplies. The position is in the General Services Section and under the supervision of the GSO Supply Supervisor. This position is characterized with providing support to medium size posts. This position is characterized as providing support to medium size posts with no Property Supervisor.
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE:
- minimum of two (2) years of experience in supply/warehousing/expendables or property/supply management is required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge of supply chain, warehousing operations and/or property/expendables management.
- Knowledge in computerized inventory and stock control data programs.
- Knowledge of local vendors and their procedures.
- Knowledge of SHEM safety guidelines.
Education Requirements:
- Completion of High School or Secondary is required.
Evaluations:

- LANGUAGE: Good working knowledge speaking/ writing/speaking English is required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong recordkeeping, technical, administrative skills and attention to details.
- Computer competencies including basic skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Must have a valid, class B driver’s license.
- Must be able to lift a maximum of 51 lbs. (23kg) under OSHA standards.

2). Chauffeur
Location: Abuja
Duties
- Basic Function: Under the direct supervision of the Motor pool Supervisor, incumbent operates a variety of armored and non-armored motor vehicles to transport Mission personnel, including VIP visitors, TDY staff, delegations and field trips. Performs routine preventive maintenance, cleaning of vehicle and completes trip ticket to notate each trip taken on their shift, including mileage, fuel, condition of vehicle, and passenger details.
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 3 years professional driving experience is required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Thorough knowledge of Abuja and other Nigeria cities is required. Must have a good knowledge of automotive, mechanical, safety and maintenance practices i.e. checking fluids and tire pressure. Must be familiar with local traffic laws, traffic patterns, and locations of various government offices.
Education Requirements:
- Completion of Secondary School is required.

- LANGUAGE: Limited knowledge, Reading, Speaking and writing of English Language is required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Must have a valid class B or D driver’s license. Ability to work on rotational shift schedule is required. Must be able to drive carefully and cautiously in heavy and chaotic traffic. Ability to communicate clearly on the phone and/or by radio and follow instructions is required. Ability to recognize hazards or potential dangerous situations and take appropriate defensive actions is required.
