1). Branch Manager

Location: Lagos

JOB OBJECTIVE

  • The Branch Manager is responsible for the profitabilityof the branch’s CMB business and the satisfaction of all customers.
  • TheBM is responsible for the branch ambience, service delivery and operations. He/she must be committed to ensuring that processes, procedures, and standards that have been defined by the Bank are adhered to by all branch staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business and Financial Performance

  • Delivery of the branch’s CMB budget numbers
  • Identify business growth opportunities in the local market and develop appropriate strategies for capturing such to grow our market share.
  • Work jointly and proactively with all internal stakeholders (businesses, Operations, Technology, and product partners) to increase Ecobank’s wallet share within the respective markets.
  • Review Account Plans for all RMs (CMB) attached to the branch with a view to enhancing customer wallet share, business volumes and earnings.
  • Achieve targetedCMB product crosssell ratios and increase customer adoption of Ecobank’s products, platforms, and services.
  • Ensure that various CMB business segments in the branch maintain a CABAL that is commensurate with overall budget projections.
  • Ensure that all incomes are properly recognized.
  • Grow the deposit base of the branch with specific focus on growing low-cost deposits, collections, value-chain business, and channels.
  • Achieve cost-income ratio targets of the branch and business.
  • Ensure that credit approval memoranda (CAM) meet the Banks’ credit policy guidelines and loan accounts are operated within ‘credit approval’ limits and terms.
  • Conduct regular business performance and profitability reviews.
  • Ensure all Non-Performing Loan (NPL) & Past Due Obligation (PDO) ratios are kept within budgeted limits and targeted for recovery.
  • Attain sales goals, performance targets and customer satisfaction levels through the effective management of resources.

Client Centricity

  • Constantly review strategies to ensure excellent and comprehensive customer service delivery, quality standards and branch ambience are constantly upheld in the branch.
  • Identification and marketing of prospects within the target market.
  • Responsible for exceeding customers’ expectation across the segments.
  • Establish and sustain a customer-centric business culture in the branch, leveraging on people and technology to ensure service quality and excellence in the delivery of our products and services.
  • Sustain/drive increased digital channel utilization with a specific focus on Omni lite, NQR and POS
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction as measured and monitored through customer feedback surveys and Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
  • Efficiently and effectively liaise with internal departments/Units – CIB, Trade, Risk, EBS, etc. including other Branches and departments to promote and drive business volumes and profitability at the branch.

Leadership and People Management

  • Motivate and lead team to achieve consistent profitability through a clear process for setting targets, performance management & monitoring of all set targets.
  • Conduct regular people performance and productivity reviews.
  • Create and sustain a fit-for-purpose succession plan and build a healthy talent pipeline.
  • Encourage and foster a congenial working environment to enable your team achieve excellence through teamwork and operational efficiency.

  • Process, Control and Operational Performance
  • Promote high ethical and integrity standards and ensure the Ecobank RACE-ITValues are sustained and evident at the branch.
  • Ensure there is a strong internal control system in place and monitor its adequacy and effectiveness.
  • Achieve satisfactory audit rating and fully comply with KYC/AML and regulatory guidelines.
  • Achieve and sustain effective balance sheet management.
  • Make recommendations to management to improve operations process to improve customer satisfaction.

  • Drive/Champion & sustain the ongoing Ecobank Nigeria digitalization agenda.

JOB PROFILE/ REQUIREMENTS

Experience & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 6 years relevant banking experience, with proven track record of excellent results in marketing/sales, credit and leadership.
  • Good knowledge of the Nigerian business environment, the Nigerian banking industry and its direction, trends and regulations.
  • EXCELLENT knowledge of banking operations, technology, products & customer segmentation.
  • Minimum of 2nd class lower in first degree (MBA, MSC, MA, ML and/or Professional Qualifications willbe an added advantage).

3). Manager, Growth & Sales Analytics

Location: Lagos

Job Purpose

  • The purpose of this role is to exponentially scale up the acquisition of customers via digital channels such as the Xpress Point App, and drive engagement to increase digital sales, product uptake and channel adoption.

Context

  • The Growth & Sales Analytics Lead is responsible for creating a pipeline of viable prospective customers and converting them into valuable clients.
  • S/he will design, implement, and analyse campaigns to attract, inform, and convert future customers across all stages of their journey.
  • The role works to find the right channels for reaching our target customers.
  • The role is responsible for developing and executing a strategy to increase brand awareness through organic search and content channels, drive customer acquisition, improve conversion rate, and drive product adoption within Consumer Bank.
  • This position is responsible for implementation and execution of the digital sales strategy, last-mile delivery of our products and services, revenue generation, efficiency improvement and overall digital sales excellence

Key Responsibilities
Strategy Implementation:

  • Build and own the company’s growth strategy in collaboration with Consumer Bank’s leadership team
  • Develop a deep understanding of our (prospective) users and their motivations

Business and Financial Performance

  • Report, maintain and forecast all business metric results including customer growth, retention, recurring revenue, engagement, NPS, and margin

Job Purpose

  • The purpose of this role is to promote Ecobank’s products and channels by developing copy for websites, social media, marketing materials, and other platforms.
  • S/he will create both written, verbal, video, and other media for both individual and public consumption.

Job Context

  • This role reports directly to the Head, Digital Sales & Engagement and is crucial to achieving the business objectives of the Consumer Banking business at Ecobank Nigeria.
  • The priority of the Content Creator is to produce high-quality outputs to engage prospective customers of Ecobank via digital channels.
  • The Content Creator will update existing material, generate original work, and identify new ways to reach consumers.
  • S/he will adhere to brand guidelines while finding new styles for expressing our messages.
  • The Content Creator focuses on appealing to consumers’ interests by creating engaging material.

Job Purpose

  • The purpose of this role is to lead the analysis of data sets, resulting in the digital acquisition customers at scale, leveraging internal and external sources, and driving Ecobank’s digital sales, product uptake and channel adoption

Job Context

  • This role reports directly to the Head, Digital Sales & Engagement and is crucial to achieving the business objectives of the Consumer Bank.
  • There will be two key initial priorities for the role:
    • Acting as a data champion for the team by gaining deep knowledge of what is available and possible (both internally and externally), and surfacing opportunities to integrate analytical and research-based data sources to provide a more holistic view of customers and prospects, and
    • Using analytical approaches to build our understanding of different customer groups and their transaction patterns within Consumer Bank
  • The role is responsible for providing analysis, leading to data driven digital sales efforts in Consumer Bank business. This includes:
    • Analysing internal and external data sets to determine opportunities for customer acquisition and client engagement
    • Acting as a trusted partner to the Product, Segment and Regional Heads in Consumer Bank

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct data mining and analysis, solving growth problems by leveraging data
  • Communicate complex analysis and insights to stakeholders and business leaders, both verbally and in writing

  • Ensure compliance to any legal and regulatory requirements as well as governance directives arising in the course of work.
  • Comply with all Consumer Bank’s policies and procedures.

  • Lead strategic initiatives that will create business growth.
  • Co-develop game changing initiatives in line with the Consumer Bank Digital Strategy

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Business Management
  • 5 Plus years’ experience in an analytics environment solving real business problems
  • Working knowledge of data mining using SQL, ETL, and Excel
  • Demonstrated experience in executing presentations of technical and business level data
  • Knowledge and familiarity with Tableau is a plus
  • Proven experience with R, SAS, SPSS, predictive modelling and statistical packages a plus
  • Proven ability to synthesize analytics and research results into clear insights, and to deliver actionable recommendations.
