1). Junior Project Manager/PMO SAP S/4 HANA (m/f/x)

About the Job

  • For the implementation of S/4 HANA within Julius Berger Group we are looking for a Junior Project Manager (m/f/d) with focus on Purchasing and Warehousing to support the implementation of the project.
  • The transformation of our Purchasing/Warehousing will be the first phase in our overall S/4 HANA implementation roadmap. You will help develop the project environment and work with a team to ensure that all tasks are executed on time and with the expected quality.

What Duties will you Have?

  • Support of the project management and the project teams
  • Setting up the project organization and infrastructure (e.g. SharePoint, Solution Manager)
  • Coordination of local (Nigerian Julius Berger Nigeria PLC), international (German Julius Berger International GmbH) and external teams (existing and future)
  • Definition of project phases (best practice) and tasks
  • Ensuring timely and qualitative completion of project tasks
    Planning and execution of the individual project phases and establishment of project communication structures
  • Creation of project manuals and concepts for the individual project phases (e.g. GAP analyses, training, testing)
  • Ensuring the use of project templates (e.g. RAID, RACI, project plan, reports)
  • Tracking and monitoring project deliverables
  • Coordinating project activities locally and internationally
  • Monitoring and maintaining the project RAID log (risks, actions, issues, and decisions)
  • Tracking of project budget and preparation of management reports
  • Monitoring of the entire transformation process
  • Communication of decisions and important information within the project
  • Creation of project management templates (e.g., RAID, RACI, project plan, reports)
  • Reporting to internal project coordination and project implementation steering committee.

What Skills must you Have? 

  • Experience in project management / project coordination and project controlling of business/IT projects is an advantage
  • S4/HANA implementation experience, desirable with focus on SAP Warehousing
  • Knowledge of project management tools and methods and their application
  • Experience in change management of processes and organizations
  • Knowledge in developing S/4HANA business cases, architecture and implementation plans with focus on SAP standard solutions desirable
  • Willingness to travel
  • Very good English and German language skills.

2). Commercial Project Manager

Location: Abuja

What Duties will you Have? 

  • You will take on commercial responsibility on our major projects, service units or in a central area.
  • You will work on all business management tasks and support the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • The preparation and creation of various analyses and evaluations, such as cost target/actual comparisons, is also part of your duties.
  • Furthermore, you will be involved in the selection and scheduling of the commercial staff on site.

What Skills Must you have? 

  • You have completed a commercial Degree or comparable training.
  • You have initial professional experience in commercial project management, ideally in the construction industry.
  • You have a very good command of written and spoken English.
  • In addition, you have good knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems and are proficient in the use of common MS Office applications.
  • Teamwork suits you; you are flexible and entrepreneurial in your thinking.
