1). Retail Depot Representative

Location: Sapele, Delta

Employment Type: Full Time

Description

  • Responsible for assisting with logistics coordination and all operational activities in the depots.

Responsibilities

  • Loading and ullaging of products at the depot for retail stations.
  • Send out ullage figures for loaded trucks to the entire retail team.
  • Assist the Retail Operations Manager to prepare monthly returns to Head Office
  • Assist with efficient and equitable allocation of products to the retail’s stations from the depot.
  • Ensure all trucks used for transportation meet specified standards otherwise escalate.
  • Manage relationships with third party depots management.
  • Monitor risk-management procedures and maintain problems logs for identifying and reporting issues to management on product.
  • Ensure timely dispatch of loaded trucks to retail outlets.
  • Receive the chart of every truck to be ullaged and compares it with the ullage figures to establish the quantity loaded.
  • Attend to any issues that may arise at the depots either with the owners or external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an OND in Engineering, Social Science or related discipline is required.
  • 1 – 2 years experience in a related role
  • In-depth understanding of oil and gas industry standards and policies
  • Good customer focus
  • Sharp attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Good Microsoft skills

2). Account Executive

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Description

  • To establish Rainoil’s financial status by collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information.

Responsibilities

  • Handles all aspects of assigned bookkeeping activities such as reconciliations, journals, and nominal ledger administration by updating the accounting application with transactions as they occur.
  • Execute measures to ensure that the company’s receivables are effectively monitored and are kept to the minimum.
  • Process cash book transactions and prepare bank reconciliation
  • Document and update records of all fixed assets to ensure they are properly valued, accounted for, and safeguarded.
  • Computes direct expenses as well as proper booking of all expenses
  • Monitor Rainoil’s budget by performance evaluation and analysis of variances.
  • Manages invoices concerning truck activities
  • Prepare the year-end performance report showing the closing balances for assets, liabilities, cash, and stock.
  • Prepare periodic accounts as well as a statement of financial position at the end of the financial year.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Finance / Accounting or any related discipline.
  • Relevant professional certification e.g. Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), and Association of Certified and Chartered Accountants (ACCA) is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the Finance/ Treasury function in a similar organization.

3). Tax Analyst

Location: Lagos

Description

  • The role is Tax responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with the Nigerian tax regulations, international tax laws, and the specific tax requirements of the oil and gas industry.
  • The role will involve tax research, preparing tax returns, assisting with tax audits, and implementing tax strategies to optimize the company’s tax position

Responsibilities
Tax Compliance:

  • Analysing taxes and collaborating with other departments to ensure compliance with local and national tax laws.
  • Prepare returns and review documents, check for accuracy and completion.
  • Manage compliance with industry-specific taxes, such as Petroleum Profits Tax (PPT) and royalties.

Tax Planning and Strategy:

  • Suggesting and implementing strategies for tax efficiency in respect of capital investments and transactions.
  • Assist with tax forecasting and budgeting, and work to minimize the company’s tax liabilities while ensuring compliance.

Audit and Reporting:

  • Assist in tax audits and respond to tax authorities on audit-related queries and reconciliations.
  • Ensure filing of tax audit documents and timely processing of required tax reports.
  • Monitor tax legislation changes and assess their impact on the company.

Collaboration and Support:

  • Work closely with the finance and accounting teams to reconcile tax accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with other business units to provide guidance on tax implications of contracts, agreements, and joint ventures.

Tax Advisory:

  • Provide advisory opinion on tax risks and opportunities within the oil and gas sector.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian Local Content Development requirements where applicable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, CITN) preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in tax analysis, ideally within the oil and gas or energy sectors.
  • Familiarity with Nigerian tax regulations and FIRS processes.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, including those specific to the oil and gas industry (e.g., Petroleum Profits Tax).
  • Familiarity with tax treaties, international tax practices, and transfer pricing.
  • Experience with tax audits and dispute resolution with tax authorities.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with tax reporting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
