• A top recycling brand is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Associate to oversee its maintenance team. The Maintenance Lead will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of their facility by overseeing the maintenance of all equipment and systems, as well as developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance team, including scheduling, training, and mentoring team members
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all equipment and systems, including electrical, and mechanical systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues with equipment and systems, and make necessary repairs or replacements
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify potential maintenance issues and address them before they become problems
• Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and maintenance logs
• Work collaboratively with other members of the facilities team to identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime
• Manage relationships with outside contractors and vendors to ensure that maintenance needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or degree in a related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in a maintenance role, with at least 1 years in a leadership or supervisory role
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues with a variety of systems
• Familiarity with tools and equipment commonly used in maintenance work
• Ability to lead and mentor a team, with strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed
• Passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship
