Job Title: Maintenance Technician (I&E, Mech & Elect)

Job Description
- The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment in offshore production facilities.
- The role involves supporting isolation tasks, maintaining tanks and valves, and ensuring operational efficiency while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
Perform maintenance tasks such as:
- Sampling (pre/post-export, mid-month, and monthly).
- Isolation of cargo, ballast, and ancillary tanks via skillets and valve operations.
- Hatch opening, closing, and greasing for cargo, ballast, and ancillary tanks.
- Valve greasing and exercising (purge, IG inlet, fresh air inlet, 3-way valves).
- Support the cleaning and maintenance of pump rooms, bilges, and tanks.
- Assist with the blinding, removal, and reinstatement of bunkering hose reels (methanol, diesel, and freshwater).
- Conduct inspections, routine maintenance, and repairs on pumps, valves, and associated systems.
- Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and ready for operations.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other maintenance and support tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma or technical certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of offshore maintenance experience, focusing on pumps, valves and mechanical systems.
- FPSO experience is a MUST.
- International experience in Nigeria, Africa is a plus
- Experience working effectively in a multicultural team
Certifications:
- Offshore safety certifications (e.g., BOSIET, HUET).
- Certification in mechanical systems maintenance is an advantage.
Skills:
- Proficient in isolating tanks and pumps using skillets and valve operations.
- Knowledge of offshore cargo and ballast systems.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
