Job Title: Marketing Strategist

Location: Ajah, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
Branding and Brand Governance:

  • Develop and maintain a strong, cohesive brand identity that aligns with Saharan Distillers’ vision and resonates with target audiences.
  • Implement brand guidelines and governance protocols to ensure consistency across all marketing channels and communications.
  • Oversee content creation, packaging design, and messaging to align with brand standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate brand perception and work on initiatives to enhance brand affinity and awareness.

Marketing Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies, including ATL, BTL, and digital marketing initiatives to meet business objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify consumer insights, competitive analysis, and emerging trends to inform marketing activities.
  • Plan and execute campaigns that drive brand engagement, customer loyalty, and market penetration.
  • Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and achieving a high ROI.

Marketing and Partnership Activation (Offline):

  • Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships that align with Saharan Distillers’ brand values and marketing goals.
  • Organize and execute offline marketing events such as tasting experiences, brand activation pop-ups, and exclusive partnership collaborations.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, and collaborators to bring campaigns and activations to life.
  • Analyze the success of offline campaigns, gathering data and feedback to optimize future initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing strategy, brand management, and partnership activation within the FMCG, beverage, or luxury sectors.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and executing marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in brand governance and managing creative agencies.
  • Strong understanding of the Nigerian market landscape and cultural nuances.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to create and execute marketing strategies that drive long-term brand growth.
  • Creative and Innovative: Able to conceptualize unique ideas for brand activation and marketing.
  • Project Management: Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and activations simultaneously.
  • Partnership Development: Strong networking skills with a proven ability to establish and maintain impactful partnerships.
  • Budget Management: Experience in allocating and managing budgets effectively.
