Eko Electricity Distribution Plc (EKEDC) is commonly considered as the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry’s (NESI) showpiece.The Energy Power Sector Reform Act (EPSRA) went into effect in March 2005, thereby ending the National Electric Power Authority (NEPA). Power generation, transmission, and distribution, which were all part of NEPA, were split off into distinct commercial activities in the sector.

Responsibilities:

As a Network Technician, your primary responsibilities include:

• Maximizing network performance through continuous monitoring and conducting performance checks.
• Troubleshooting network problems and outages, collaborating with HQ for network optimization.
• Monitoring, maintaining, and resolving any network challenges that arise.
• Handling wireless network setup, management, maintenance, upgrades, and deployments.
• Designing, setting up, and maintaining LAN networks in both HQ and all District offices.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Minimum educational requirement: HND/BSc in Computer Science or a related field.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in IT analytical skills.
• Strong project management abilities.
