Position Overview
- As a Nurse at Nobsams Hospital, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care, promoting wellness, and ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facility.
- You will work collaboratively with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to deliver comprehensive and compassionate nursing services.
Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide direct and indirect patient care, including assessing patient needs, developing care plans, administering medications, and monitoring patient conditions.
- Clinical Procedures: Perform various clinical procedures, such as wound dressing, IV administration, medication management, and assisting with diagnostic tests.
- Documentation: Accurately and promptly document patient information, including assessments, treatments, and medication administration, in electronic medical records.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, treatment plans, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the healthcare team, including physicians, therapists, and other nurses, to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Safety and Infection Control: Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Emergency Response: Respond effectively to medical emergencies, providing immediate care and alerting the appropriate medical personnel as needed.
- Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by participating in audits, evaluating patient outcomes, and suggesting process improvements.
- Professional Development: Stay updated with advancements in nursing practice and participate in continuing education programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Compliance: Adhere to legal and ethical standards, including patient confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and professional nursing standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Nursing License and registration
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting (preferred)
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centered approach
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other healthcare software
Remuneration
N50,000 – N60,000 Monthly.
