We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Retail Operations Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • As the Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient production operations, maintaining high-quality standards, and adhering to safety regulations across all restaurant locations. You will be responsible for managing a team of production staff, coordinating with different departments, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity while minimizing costs.

Responsibilities
Production Oversight:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets and deadlines at all restaurant locations.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Implement measures to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.

Team Management:

  • Lead and motivate production staff to achieve performance goals and objectives.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any performance issues.
  • Foster a positive work environment conducive to teamwork and collaboration.
  • Resource Planning and Allocation:
  • Plan and allocate resources effectively, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to meet production demands across the restaurant chain.
  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics departments to ensure timely raw materials and supplies availability.
  • Optimize resource utilization to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.

Quality Control:

  • Implement and maintain quality control measures throughout the production process at all restaurant locations.
  • Conduct inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Take corrective actions as necessary to address quality issues and prevent reoccurrence. Safety and Compliance:
  • Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all production staff at all restaurant locations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to production operations.
  • Conduct safety training and awareness programs to promote a culture of safety among employees.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements across the restaurant chain.
  • Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma projects.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance production performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND or OND
  • Minimum of three years of experience in an operations management role, preferably in the food industry or restaurant chain operations.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management principles.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
