Job Summary
- Habrams Energy seeks a strategic Mechanical Engineer to serve as Operations Manager.
- This role oversees the execution and optimization of EPC projects, Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contracts, Equipment Installation, Fabrication, Personnel Outsourcing, and Project Procurement.
- The ideal candidate will drive project delivery excellence, maintain high QHSE standards, and support company profitability and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution:
- Develop and implement project execution strategies aligned with Habrams Energy’s business goals.
- Translate project wins into actionable delivery plans, ensuring efficient allocation and optimization of resources across all service lines.
- Identify and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Project Delivery (EPC, O&M, Fabrication, Installation, Procurement)
- Lead the delivery of EPC, O&M, fabrication, equipment installation, and procurement projects, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, schedules, budgets, and QHSE standards.
- Oversee the safe and efficient execution of mechanical works, including planned/predictive maintenance, shutdowns/turnarounds, and root cause analysis for failures.
- Supervise mechanical subcontractors and vendors, ensuring quality and performance align with project requirements.
Technical Personnel Provision (Outsourcing Service):
- Direct the provision and deployment of outsourced technical personnel for client projects, ensuring all personnel meet competency and certification requirements, perform to client expectations, and comply with company and client QHSE standards at client sites.
Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE):
- Champion a strong QHSE culture across all projects, ensuring compliance with company policies, industry codes, and international standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001; ASME, API, AWS, ASTM).
- Lead incident investigations, corrective actions, and proactive risk management at all project locations.
Project Financial Management & Cost Control:
- Develop and control project budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial targets are met across the project portfolio.
- Monitor expenditures and optimize resource utilization for all projects.
Stakeholder Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Represent Habrams Energy in operational discussions, project negotiations, and post-project reviews.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 10+ years’ progressive project management experience in Oil & Gas, including at least 3 years in a senior project/operations leadership role.
- Proven track record managing EPC, O&M, fabrication, installation, and procurement projects.
- Deep understanding of industry codes and standards (ASME, API, AWS, ASTM).
- Strong QHSE leadership and compliance experience.
- Proficiency with project management methodologies and tools (PMP or equivalent required).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple project priorities in a dynamic environment.
