Job Title: Product Marketer

Location: Ajah, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and enhancements.
  • Ensure optimal product performance i.e. the sales target for products in the assigned territory is met.
  • Conduct market research to identify and understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive analysis.
  • Using agile methodology, develop customer personas and tailor marketing efforts to target specific segments while gathering and analyzing customer feedback to improve products and marketing strategies.
  • Create compelling product positioning, messaging, and value propositions, including product branding and packaging that are simple, concise, attractive, easily accessible, and obtainable.
  • Monitor and report on product performance metrics, including sales, customer acquisition, retention and adjusting marketing strategies where necessary.
  • Using a design thinking approach, collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to initiate product improvement and to develop marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Develop content for product descriptions, website, and marketing collateral, including brochures, product descriptions, and promotional materials.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 2- 4 years experience in product marketing preferably in e-commerce or consumer goods.
  • Ability to work with target and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies
