Composite Construction is a leading Building and Construction Company based in Lagos with an interest in Real Estate (residential, commercial, or industrial).

Job Summary

• Join us as we launch our first production facility and sales operations in an exciting new venture in the furniture industry! We’re seeking a skilled, experienced, and energetic Production Manager to lead our production floor from the ground up.
• This is a unique chance to be a key player in a startup and shape the future of our business from its early stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the setup and launch of the production floor, including equipment installation and factory layout.
• Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and workflows to meet sales and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with the design, procurement, and sales teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Hire, train, and manage production staff to create a high-performing and motivated team.
• Establish and monitor quality control processes to maintain consistent product standards.
• Implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining high quality and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Analyze production data, prepare reports, and present insights to senior management.

Key Requirements

• B.Sc/B.Tech/B.Eng in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a similar field.
• Advanced degree (MBA, MSc) will be a plus
• Minimum of 7 years managerial experience on a production floor, preferably in furniture manufacturing or related industries.
• Strong expertise in production planning, quality control, and supply chain management.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and production management software.
• Certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Project Management (PMP) are highly desirable.
• Experience in startups or new factory setups is an added advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to work effectively across teams.
