Job Summary
- We are seeking a smart, courteous, and well-presented Receptionist to be the first point of contact for guests at our establishment.
- The ideal candidate will handle check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries with professionalism and warmth. This role is key to creating a lasting first impression and ensuring a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet all guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
- Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using the hotel management system.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries regarding bookings, services, and facilities.
- Manage room and table reservations accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments for smooth guest service.
- Handle customer complaints or issues politely and escalate when necessary.
- Maintain records of guest stays, payments, and ID documentation.
- Assist with billing, cash handling, and reporting duties.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess relevant qualifications.
- Prior experience as a receptionist, front desk agent, or guest service personnel is preferred.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations; knowledge of hotel reservation software is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Friendly, professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Basic knowledge of hospitality services and guest management.
