Job Title: Receptionist

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for the organization. This role is responsible for greeting visitors, answering calls, handling inquiries, and performing various administrative tasks to support daily operations.
  • A professional, friendly demeanor and excellent communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
  • Handle and respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
  • Maintain the reception area in a tidy and presentable condition.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
  • Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and scanning.
  • Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor badges.
  • Provide basic information to clients and visitors about the organization.
  • Coordinate with internal departments as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

  • BSc. in any related field.
  • Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk representative, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Customer service attitude and a professional appearance.
