Job Title: Reconciliations Officer

Location: Yaba, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

  • We’re hiring a detail-oriented and proactive Admin & Reconciliations Officer to support both our administrative functions and financial operations.
  • This hybrid role is ideal for someone who is organized, good with numbers, and eager to support business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage petty cash and maintain accurate records of all disbursements.
  • Reconcile petty cash balances and request replenishments as needed.
  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, including managing office supplies.
  • Monitor utility usage and coordinate timely payments to service providers.
  • Liaise with vendors for maintenance, repairs, and general office needs.
  • Reconcile daily sales from all sales channels.
  • Update transaction data into the company’s accounting or ERP systems.
  • Confirm and track payments from customers across bank transfers, POS, and mobile platforms.
  • Report payment discrepancies or delays to the finance department.
  • Assist in tracking inventory movement between warehouse and sales points.
  • Update internal systems to reflect real-time stock and inventory status.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions (both physical and digital).
  • File and organize office documentation, invoices, and receipts.
  • Support the finance team with weekly bank and sales reconciliations.
  • Prepare supporting documents and assist during internal or external audits.
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth office workflow.

Requirements

  • HND/B.Sc. in Accounting, Business Admin, Finance, or related field.
  • 1–3 years’ experience in admin, reconciliations, or finance support role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic familiarity with accounting or inventory software.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking ability.
  • High attention to detail and integrity in handling cash and financial data.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Salary

  • N100,000 – N130,000 per month.
