Job Description
- As a Relationship Manager specializing in the educational sector, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with educational institutions, including schools, colleges, universities, and other educational organizations.
- Your primary focus will be on marketing banking products and services tailored to the unique needs of educational clients and expanding our client base within the sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within educational institutions.
- Understand the financial needs and objectives of educational clients and provide personalized banking solutions to meet their requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing ongoing support.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to promote banking products and services to educational institutions.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell banking products, such as student accounts, loans, treasury services, and investment products.
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits and features of banking solutions to potential clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor banking solutions to the specific needs of educational clients.
- Negotiate terms and conditions, prepare proposals, and close deals to onboard new educational clients.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive offerings within the educational banking sector.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging opportunities and potential risks.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management based on market intelligence and client feedback.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in marketing and sales (preferred).
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in relevant software programs.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Proven experience in relationship management, sales, or business development, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
- Understanding of the educational sector and familiarity with the financial needs of educational institutions is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical abilities with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets and objectives.
