Job Description

  • As a Relationship Manager specializing in the educational sector, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with educational institutions, including schools, colleges, universities, and other educational organizations.
  • Your primary focus will be on marketing banking products and services tailored to the unique needs of educational clients and expanding our client base within the sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within educational institutions.
  • Understand the financial needs and objectives of educational clients and provide personalized banking solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing ongoing support.
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to promote banking products and services to educational institutions.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell banking products, such as student accounts, loans, treasury services, and investment products.
  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits and features of banking solutions to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor banking solutions to the specific needs of educational clients.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions, prepare proposals, and close deals to onboard new educational clients.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive offerings within the educational banking sector.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging opportunities and potential risks.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management based on market intelligence and client feedback.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing and sales (preferred).
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in relevant software programs.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Proven experience in relationship management, sales, or business development, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Understanding of the educational sector and familiarity with the financial needs of educational institutions is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Results-driven mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets and objectives.
