Job Title: Relationship Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

  • We are looking for enthusiastic and member-focused Relationship Officers to be the face of SavingsBox Multipurpose Cooperative Society.
  • You will be responsible for acquiring new members, fostering strong relationships with our existing community, and ensuring they fully utilize the range of our financial products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively prospect and onboard new members (individuals, groups, businesses) to SavingsBox Multipurpose Cooperative Society , explaining the benefits and processes of membership.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of existing members, building strong, long-term relationships based on trust and understanding.
  • Identify member needs and proactively cross-sell relevant products and services (savings, investments, loans) to enhance their financial well-being.
  • Handle member inquiries, feedback, and complaints efficiently and professionally, escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Conduct regular outreach and engagement activities to maintain high member satisfaction and retention.
  • Gather market intelligence and member feedback to contribute to product development and service improvement.
  • Achieve individual and team targets for member acquisition, product adoption, and engagement.

Qualifications

  • HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a client-facing role, such as Sales, Customer Service, Relationship Management, Marketing, preferably within financial services.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate financial concepts clearly.
  • Strong persuasive and negotiation abilities.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented with a passion for member service.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
