Job Title: Retail Station Manager

Location: Lagos (Free Trade Zone – Ibeju Lekki) & Kano

Job Description

  • We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Retail Station Manager to oversee operations at our retail station.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the station runs smoothly, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the retail station, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Manage and lead a team of attendants, conducting training and performance evaluations.
  • Develop sales strategies and marketing initiatives to drive revenue growth.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to minimize losses and maximize efficiency.
  • Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and safety throughout the facility.
  • Handle customer complaints and inquiries professionally and effectively.
  • Analyze sales data and prepare regular reports on sales performance and operational efficiency.
  • Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork among staff.

Measurable KPIs

  • Achieving and exceeding monthly sales targets.
  • Customer satisfaction scores (feedback ratings or surveys).
  • Staff turnover rate and training completion rates.
  • Inventory shrinkage percentage.
  • Operational compliance score (audit results).

Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). A masters degree will be an advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail management or a supervisory role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team effectively.

Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-oriented with a passion for service excellence.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
