Job Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Summary
- Our client is seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their growing team.
- As an SDR, you will play a critical role in driving the company’s growth by identifying and qualifying potential customers, setting up meetings for the sales team, and contributing to the overall sales strategy.
- Your responsibilities will include outbound prospecting, managing inbound leads, conducting discovery calls, and building relationships with potential clients.
- The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills, a passion for technology, and the ability to clearly articulate the value of a customer intelligence platform.
Responsibilities
- Conduct targeted outreach to potential customers through various channels, including email, phone, and social media.
- Qualify inbound leads and manage the initial stages of the sales pipeline.
- Schedule and conduct discovery calls to understand potential customers’ needs and pain points.
- Educate prospects on the value of the company’s customer intelligence platform and how it can benefit product teams.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align outreach efforts with marketing campaigns and content.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in our CRM system.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified meetings and opportunities created.
- Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams based on prospect interactions and market insights.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and our product developments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 1 – 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools.
- Experience with outbound prospecting techniques and tools (e.g., Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo).
- Basic understanding of product management and customer intelligence concepts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Resilience and a positive attitude in the face of rejection.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a sales career path.
