Job Description

Client Acquisition and Prospecting:

  • Identifying and reaching out to potential clients such as event planners, corporate clients, travel agents, and tourists to promote the venue’s services and offerings.

Sales Presentations and Proposals:

  • Presenting the property’s services, such as accommodation, meeting facilities, dining options, and event spaces to prospective clients.
  • They tailor proposals to meet the specific needs of clients, including pricing and package options.

Managing Corporate and Group Bookings:

  • Handling group bookings for corporate events, conferences, weddings, and other large gatherings.
  • They often negotiate rates and create customized packages for these clients.

Maintaining Client Relationships:

  • Building long-term relationships with existing clients, ensuring they have a positive experience, and encouraging repeat business or referrals.

Achieving Revenue Targets:

  • Meeting sales quotas by driving bookings for rooms, events, dining, and other services.
  • They work closely with the marketing and revenue management teams to align efforts.

Market Research:

  • Understanding the local market, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to adjust sales strategies and stay competitive.

Sales Reporting:

  • Tracking and reporting on sales activities, leads, conversions, and progress towards targets to senior management.

Networking and Partnerships:

  • Developing relationships with local businesses, event planners, and travel agencies to create partnership opportunities and promote the hotel or venue to a broader audience.

Upselling and Cross-selling:

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree or HND with 3 – 7 years of work experience.
