Job Summary
- We are seeking result-driven, persuasive, and highly motivated Sales Officers to aggressively drive client acquisition and revenue growth for our company.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for both outdoor and indoor marketing, closing sales deals, and ensuring the inflow of clients and business.
- This role also requires close collaboration with the Customer Service and Support teams to ensure seamless onboarding, client satisfaction, and sustained engagement.
- The Sales Officer will be rewarded with performance-based commissions in addition to a base salary.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and convert potential clients through direct outdoor marketing, cold calls, in-person visits, and indoor engagement tactics (e.g., virtual demos, calls, email campaigns).
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales conversion targets and client inflow quotas.
- Develop and implement aggressive marketing strategies to drive awareness and demand for the company’s products/services.
- Leverage digital marketing knowledge (SEO, social media, email marketing, WhatsApp marketing, etc.) to support lead generation and conversion.
- Conduct product presentations and sales pitches tailored to client needs and pain points.
- Maintain strong relationships with prospects and current clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Coordinate closely with the Customer Service team to ensure successful client onboarding, handovers, and issue resolution.
- Track all sales activities and pipeline status accurately using CRM systems and provide regular updates to management.
- Represent the company in events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to increase visibility and client base.
- Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to improve sales tactics and offerings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or client acquisition—preferably in a tech-driven, FMCG, or service-based company.
- Strong background in both traditional and digital marketing strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed aggressive sales targets and KPIs.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Self-driven, proactive, persuasive, and result-oriented with a hunter mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and handle rejections professionally.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Ads, etc.
Salary
N100,000 – N120,000 Monthly, Commission 2.5% of total sales
