Job Title: Sales Executive Trainee – PC Marine

Job Summary
- We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Sales Executive to join our sales team.
- The role is designed to provide hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world sales experience.
- The Trainee Sales Executive will support the sales process, learn key sales techniques, and gradually develop into an independent, target-driven sales professional.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the sales team in identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Support in generating leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Shadow senior sales executives during client meetings and presentations to learn sales techniques.
- Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and sales reports under supervision.
- Follow up with clients for feedback, orders, and payment collections.
- Maintain and update customer databases and CRM systems.
- Participate in training sessions, product knowledge workshops, and team meetings.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Customer Service, Logistics) to support sales activities.
- Gradually take responsibility for achieving individual sales targets as skills develop.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Duties include the following, measurable in terms of time, cost, quality or quantity.
- Reporting: to prepare all applicable reports in time for accuracy and in order to ensure that they match the functional requirements, policies and standards.
Education Qualifications / Other Soft Skill Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Paint Technology or Chemical Engineering is a must.
- Strong interest in building a career in sales and business development.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn, adaptable, and self-motivated.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work in a team and take direction from senior staff.
- Willingness to travel and meet clients as required.

Salary
- N180,000 – N200,000 Monthly.
