Job Title: Sales Manager

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We seek a sales manager to create and execute sales approaches to boost the company’s revenue stream. In this position, the sales professional must bring in fresh clients and sustain current accounts through strong interactions with business networks within their assigned state.
  • Candidates who should apply must demonstrate results-driven leadership, a successful sales history, strong communication abilities, and a thorough knowledge of mobile advertising and SaaS industry requirements.

Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify and target potential business clients
  • Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and competitive trends.
  • Manage and optimize the sales pipeline, from lead generation to closing deals.

Business Development & Client Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at potential and existing clients.
  • Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Provide ongoing support and account management to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Actively seek and respond to client feedback to enhance product offerings.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Potentially build and lead a high-performing sales team.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to management.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage sales activities and customer data.
  • Identify and address performance gaps, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the mobile advertising, SaaS, or technology industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of the mobile advertising and digital marketing landscape.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
  • Knowledge of the local business community and network.
  • Experience with Wi-Fi or location-based services.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching at least 3software products.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve significant user acquisition targets, ideally with experience driving millions of downloads.
