Job Title: Sales Manager – Transformer Sales

Location: Gbagada, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead and manage the sales of transformers (distribution, power, and special application types).
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, building client relationships, managing key accounts, and driving revenue growth in line with company targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to promote transformer products to both new and existing customers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the utility, industrial, and commercial sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, consultants, and procurement teams.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to meet customer requirements.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, client interactions, and market intelligence using CRM tools.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in B2B sales of electrical equipment, preferably transformers.
  • Strong understanding of transformer engineering / technologies and applications.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with power utility / distribution companies (Discos), Property developer, industrial clients, rural electrification agency and Project.
  • Technical certification or training related to transformers or electrical distribution systems.
