Title: Sales Supervisor – New Category
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a talented individual to join our Sales team in the role of Supervisor. Reporting to the Area Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of field-based sales agents. Your key responsibilities include monitoring your team’s performance and providing daily reports to the Area Commercial Manager. Additionally, you will contribute to team training and hiring activities as needed.
Duties:
- Establish relationships with new customers through recruitment and onboarding.
- Maintain and cultivate relationships with existing customers.
- Strive to enhance customer satisfaction through exceptional customer service.
- Identify and promptly respond to client needs.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about current products and services and stay informed about new offerings.
- Follow up on customer orders as necessary.
- Anticipate client needs and address them effectively.
- Conduct meetings with customers to assess their specific needs and preferences while managing the entire Value Chain professionally to achieve results.
- Be responsible for achieving 100% of the allocated revenue target.
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma in sales, marketing, or a relevant field.
- Bachelor’s degree is considered an added advantage.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
- A minimum of 4 years of field sales experience, with at least 1 year of experience in team management.
- Strong knowledge of retail industry standards.
- Confident and charismatic approach to interacting with people.
