Senior Architectural Designer at Micdee

• We are seeking a talented Senior Architectural Designer to join our team at Micdee. As a Senior Architect Designer, you’ll primarily be responsible for crafting luxury interior designs and managing company interior design installations from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Drawing, creating, and developing design concepts for clients through strategy.
• Designing exterior and interior furnishings.
• Explaining design details to the estimating team to ensure accuracy.
• Conducting market research to gauge new designs and product improvements.
• Take proper measurements and communicate clients’ specifications to the project team and maintain quality control.
• Plan and oversee delivery and good finishing installations, including assigning tasks and target, evaluating the performance of work, installation administration, and timeliness of task completion.
• Conduct general quality inspection of work done on-site by our contractors and vendors to identify and resolve issues.
• Ensure that installation drawings are accurate and complete and that any additional information required for installation is provided to the contractors and vendors.
• Schedule pre-installation and post-installation meetings with all cross-section teams.
• Maintain detailed project documentation of key project decisions and clients/project requests and revisions.
• Assist the procurement in activities associated with materials, budgeting, and working with the project team for assigned projects.
• Assist in providing ongoing performance feedback and evaluating top performers in your team.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Architecture from a reputable institution
• Knowledge of international furnishings & luxury Designs.
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Interior design/Architecture within the interior design Industry.
• Knowledge of bespoke furniture design and manufacturing are an added advantage.
• Planning and Organization Skills
• Problem-solving and Innovative skills
• Ability to use design software: ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, Solid, 2D,3D designs, Solid Works, Revitt, Lumion, Sketch up, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of industry design & Woodworking
• General understanding of furniture product utilization, including architectural integration with the ability to manage small to medium projects.
• Ability to be proactive and deliver results.
• Attention to detail to ensure a high level of quality.
• Ability to Multitask in high volume with strict timeframes.
• Ability to work under pressure and motivate others to meet tight deadlines.
• Passion for driving sustainable initiatives.
• High level of professionalism and strong work ethic.
