Job Title: Senior Digital Marketer

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Role Overview

  • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced senior digital marketer with a strong premium on leadership. In this role, you will not only design and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies but also lead and inspire a high-performing team.
  • You will be responsible for elevating our brand presence, driving B2B lead generation, and ensuring seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams to support overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Planning:

  • Develop and implement an integrated digital marketing strategy that aligns with Flex Finance’s business objectives.
  • Provide visionary leadership to the digital marketing team, setting clear goals and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Identify and capitalize on new digital trends and opportunities to stay ahead in the competitive fintech landscape.

Campaign Management & Execution:

  • Led the creation, launch, and management of end-to-end digital campaigns across channels including SEO, SEM, PPC, social media, email, and content marketing.
  • Oversee campaign execution to ensure consistency in messaging and brand voice, driving customer acquisition and engagement.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and maximize ROI continuously.

Team Leadership & Mentorship:

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of digital marketing professionals, promoting professional growth and accountability.
  • Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team and across departments, ensuring alignment with overall marketing initiatives.
  • Serve as a key liaison between the digital marketing team and other internal stakeholders in sales, product, and customer success.

Performance Analysis & Reporting:

  • Utilize digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media insights) to monitor campaign performance and team productivity.
  • Prepare comprehensive performance reports for senior leadership, translating data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Drive continuous improvement through systematic testing, analysis, and strategic adjustments.

Budget & Vendor Management:

  • Oversee digital marketing budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across channels.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and vendors, negotiating contracts and securing cost-effective, innovative digital solutions.

Market & Trend Analysis:

  • Stay abreast of the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices, particularly those relevant to the fintech and B2B sectors.
  • Leverage market insights to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge in the Nigerian market.

Requirements
Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record in managing successful B2B campaigns; experience in fintech or financial services is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate, mentor, and manage a diverse team of digital marketing professionals.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, SEO platforms, and email marketing software.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.

Industry Expertise:

  • Deep understanding of digital marketing trends, especially as they pertain to B2B audiences in Nigeria.
  • Proven ability to drive measurable results in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
