Job Title: Senior Video & Motion Graphics Specialist
Location: Lagos
Role Overview
- As the Flex Finance Senior Visual Storyteller & Motion Graphics Specialist, you will be at the forefront of transforming our brand narrative into captivating visual content. Leveraging your advanced video editing and motion graphics skills, you will craft engaging stories that resonate with our diverse audience. You will work closely with our marketing, design, and product teams to produce high-quality videos for promotional campaigns, product explainers, tutorials, and social media, ensuring that every piece of content reflects the innovation and dynamism of Flex Finance.
Key Responsibilities
Visual Storytelling & Video Production:
- Create and edit compelling video content that communicates our brand message and values.
- Develop visual narratives that include promotional campaigns, product explainers, testimonials, and tutorials.
Motion Graphics & Animation:
- Design and integrate dynamic motion graphics and animated elements that enhance storytelling and capture audience attention.
- Seamlessly blend motion graphics with live-action footage to produce visually stunning content.
Creative Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, storyboard, and execute video projects that align with Flex Finance’s strategic goals.
- Contribute innovative ideas to elevate our visual content and stay ahead of industry trends.
End-to-End Post-Production:
- Manage the full post-production process, including editing, color grading, sound design, and final delivery of high-quality videos optimized for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Maintain an organized digital library of raw footage, graphics, and assets.
Mentorship & Workflow Optimization:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior editors and freelance collaborators, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to brand standards.
- Continuously explore and integrate emerging trends and tools in video editing and motion graphics.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
- Degree or diploma in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field is advantageous.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years in video editing, with a strong portfolio emphasizing motion graphics and visual storytelling.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced, startup environment is highly desirable.
Technical Proficiency:
- Expertise in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
- Strong skills in color correction, grading, sound editing, and optimizing videos for diverse digital platforms.
Creative Vision:
- A compelling portfolio showcasing your ability to translate creative briefs into visually engaging content.
- Strong narrative skills and a keen eye for design, composition, and detail.
Project Management:
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Effective interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively within a creative team environment.
- Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with 3D animation tools or UI/UX design.
