Title: Shipping Manager
Location: Delta
DUTIES SUPPORTING THE SHIPPING MANAGER IN:
- Process and obtain NPA Vessel Entry Notices
- Process NAVAL Inward clearance for Vessel
- Process Army Clearance for Vessel
- Process NPA and NIMASA Berthing and Sailing Clearances
- Process Pilot booking from NPA
- Renewal of Petroleum Storage license
- Preparation of Vessel Manifest for NPA /NIMASA
- Preparation of shipping documents for ECD to Customs
- Process Customs clearance, duty assessment and duty payment
- Timely dispatch of shipping documents to all relevant government agencies.
- Documentation of third-party vessel operations
- Support in organizing ISPS drills and exercise.
- Tallying of vessels
- Other duties as assigned by line manager and management.
Person Specification
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High ethical behaviour
Job Specification
- BSc in any of the Social Sciences/Accounting
- 2-3years experience in similar role
- Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power point skills
- Not more than 30 years of age
