What We Need

  • As a result of the just concluded OD that aims to restructure and re-align the workforce for optimal productivity and scale/growth, we require the addition of a Talent & Performance Manager to join the HR team to drive the design and delivery of our strategies and plans that ensure we have the appropriate skilled resources, leadership, and talent capabilities required to deliver our business objectives and create a high-performance-driven organizational culture where people can excel at what they do.
  • This role is crucial for the current and future success of SeerBit in attracting and retaining diverse talent who are termed as A players in the organization.
  • Your role will support leaders in identifying current and potential talent, developing future technical experts and leaders, and driving a high-performance culture that delivers beyond limits.
  • You will be required to drive world-class talent and performance management practices across the various function units in the organization to enable people to change rapidly, innovate, and support the aspiration of SeerBit to deliver world-class products and services for Africas payments.

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for the design and delivery of the talent and performance management strategy.
  • Ensuring solid practices and processes are in place.
  • Deliver end-to-end Talent and Performance management leadership sessions drive continuous improvement with action orientation.
  • Provide data analysis and insight into Talent and Performance Management metrics, going beyond historical data and looking for predictive analytics.
  • Make recommendations for impactful Talent development, making the best use of SeerBit payment solutions and other opportunities.
  • Help to design and deliver Talent Attraction campaigns, working with the resourcing team to deliver better Talent and Performance Management outcomes at all levels of the organization.
  • Collaborate and work across HR to deliver and become trusted delivery partners with customer-facing units, Internal communications, and other SeerBit Internal Control units.

Requirements

  • First Degree in any Social Sciences or Business Management fields.
  • 4 to 5 years of cognate experience from a high-performance-driven culture within the financial services and technology industries.
  • Data analysis and the ability to form insights to drive better people and strategic decision-making.
  • Strategic Thinking and technology awareness, including Digital, to understand and relate to the nature of a highly customer-centric environment
  • Continuous improvement skills to identify better ways of working
  • Collaborative working and stakeholder engagement and management; building high levels of trust at all levels; and being able to challenge the status quo
  • Communication skills-both written and oral-to clearly illustrate What, why, and How.
  • Influencing skills with the courage and ability to challenge senior leaders
  • Ability to work at pace in a structured and methodical way.
  • Project methodology is an advantage to ensuring initiatives are well-planned and successfully implemented.
  • Excellent data presentation skills to succinctly and impactfully portray message(s) or findings to support business decisions
  • Excellent digital skills, especially Excel, to harness the technology to your advantage
