Job Title: Travel Sales Consultant
Location: Wuse 2, Abuja (FCT)

Description
- The task of the Travel Sales Consultant is to generate leads, follow up, and convert those leads into sales. They need to have a proven track record of sales including a substantial list of key contacts valuable to us either in the hospitality, travel, financial or office leasing industry. Someone with drive who shows hunger for sales, someone willing to learn, upskill their knowledge, and exceed revenue targets while providing exceptional customer service to clients and championing the company’s values.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Sales and Marketing Support:
- Identify and scout new leads, and pitch our services to them by leveraging on networks, referrals, industry events, cold calls, and online platforms.
- Have and maintain the ability to effectively and efficiently follow up on leads.
- Be of an open mind and collaborate with others to develop and implement strategies for attracting potential customers.
- Develop sales strategies, and sales brochure prospectus highlighting the Skykilo Advantage and its benefits to potential customers and clients.
- Develop new products.
- Have the ability to nurture and follow up on leads to close sales and exceed targets.
- Discuss with customers clients on detailed and customer-centered travel advisory and be able to present to each customer a customized solution that meets their individual needs.
- Be able to meet an entry sales target of 10 million naira in net sales revenue within 90 days of the probational period.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals and ensure that our customers are tracked fr
- Develop a rewards appreciation gift basket for customers who have patronized over a certain amount.
- Offer upsell and cross-sell opportunities to enhance the value of bookings and drive additional revenue
- Resolve any client issues or concerns promptly.
- Create and maintain an accurate and up-to-date client database.
- Keep clients informed of new travel offers, promotions and updates using a bulk email platform like Mailchimp.
- Have the zeal to learn, and stay up to date on industry trends, news advisories, destinations, and products by attending training sessions, webinars, and industry events to continuously improve knowledge and skills and educate and update management.
- Share insights and feedback with the marketing team to help refine lead-generation strategies.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing and business intelligence findings, providing recommendations for strategic decision-making.
- Raise our corporate clientele at 25% growth level quarterly.
- Organize quarterly cocktail events to appreciate our clients extract more value and introduce our new products.
- Promote sales campaigns technologically and through activations.
Skills / Knowledge / Education and/or Professional Qualifications
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A minimum of 2-5 years experience in sales preferably in the hospitality, travel, financial, and office leasing industries.
- Proven and demonstratable sales track record from lead generation to follow-up and closing
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other software necessary for the role.
- Self-motivated, and willing to learn and adapt to new technologies and situations.
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and vendors.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to navigate the challenges of the department and the business in general.
