Job Title: Travel Sales Executive
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Plan and sell airline tickets, accommodations, insurance and other travel service.
- Ensure at least 30 booking tickets are done with travelstart through the GIGM website in a week.
- Grow the customer base of Travelstart airline tickets through the GIGM website
- Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them appropriate destination, modes of transportations, travel dates, costs and accommodations
- Provide relevant information, brochures and publications (guides, local customs, maps, regulations, events etc) totravelers
- Meet profit and sales targets on a monthly basis
- Book airline tickets, make hotel reservations and collect payment/fees through GIGM’s payment platforms
- Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages
- Deal with occurring travel problems, complaints or refunds.
- Attend travel seminars to remain updated with tourism trends.
- Enter data into our software and maintain client files.
- Network with tour operators to retain and build customer base.
- Maintain statistical and financial records for proper decision making.
Requirement
- An Experienced business development officer in the aviation sector will have an added advantage.
