1). Mechanical Technician

Location: Nigeria

Purpose of the Job

  • Carry out Mechanical repair and service of all machines in the mills and headhouse to ensure continuous operation.

2). Mechanical Projects Supervisor

Location: Nigeria

Purpose of the Job

  • Assist with the implementation of mechanical projects, ensuring high quality and cost-effective standards, which is critical for the plant’s efficient operation in order to satisfy strong consumer demand.

The Job

  • Coordinate all work-related activities, such as installation, repair, and maintenance of machinery and equipment, as well as designing of metal parts and tools.

6). Maintenance Manager

Location: Nigeria

Purpose of the Job

  • Plan and manage cost effective and efficient maintenance of all equipment in a milling complex in close collaboration with the complex Chief Miller.

The Job

  • Ensure compliance to HSE standards and be a safety champion for your team
  • Drive safe working practices to reduce the risk of equipment fire and accidents to ALARP
  • Plan and organize the maintenance of milling equipment to ensure maintenance schedules are followed on time, in full and that work is of an acceptable standard
  • Plan, measure and monitor maintenance resource utilization
  • Help to ensure that spare parts are inventoried as required whilst managing the risk of building Slow & Obsolete Stock (SLOBS)
  • Ensure reduction of downtime to the barest minimum to prevent loss due to equipment failure
  • Implement best practice maintenance solutions such as predictive maintenance & criticality analysis
  • Manage the maintenance spend for your complex, such as inventory, 3rd party and overtime to ensure maintenance works are conducted in line with the budget
  • Identify and maintain spare parts and tools for maintenance work to avoid delay due to material unavailability
  • Document maintenance records for analysis and future reference
  • Analyze data to identify patterns and trends to focus your team’s efforts on the biggest wins

Education:

  • Minimum Requirement: Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline

  • Minimum requirement: 5 years’ relevant sector experience, proficient in MS Office
  • Added Advantage: Working experience on Buhler equipment

Professional (Memberships & Certifications):

  • Added Advantage:  Registered with COREN and/or Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE)

8). Electrical Supervisor – Golden Noodles

Location: Lagos

The Job

  • Direct and supervise the activities of assigned personnel involved in the maintenance of Electrical Equipment while ensuring quick response and resolution.
  • Review maintenance work orders to determine priority of need based on production schedules and urgency of problems.
  • Participate in diagnosis and repair of major breakdown and to estimate time of repair and ensure timely return of repaired equipment.
  • Carryout planned preventive measures within scheduled time to ensure equipment availability.
  • Maintain and update a log of maintenance work done for reference purposes.
  • Take responsibility for personal safety and that of others when carrying out any assignment in the plant either by you or your subordinates.

9). Pellet Press Operator – PFM

Location: Kano

The Job

  • Prepare Machine to produce feed pellets and crumbs.
  • Check and adjust Steam valves to regulate the temperature of Machines.
  • Adjust the ammeter and valves to regulate the flow of material into the machine.
  • Adjust rollers to crush pellets into crumbs feed.
  • Tends to the bucket elevator to transfer pellets to the finished feed bin.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of OND / HND in Mechanical Engineering / Sciences.
  • 5 O’ Level Credits including English and Mathematics in not more than two sittings

Experience:

  • 3+ years’ of cognate experience
  • Experience in FMCG is an added advantage

The Person Must:

10). Budget Controller (Corporate Head Office)

PURPOSE

The budget controller will be responsible for managing and overseeing FMN’s Group financial planning and budgeting processes.

THE JOB

  • Conducting financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and potential cost- saving opportunities.
  • Ensuring CHO costs are initiated according to company policy and department budget, recorded correctly, and reviewed against LE and budget targets.
  • Working closely with the CHO budget holder as well as conducting monthly reviews to ensure variances are identified and corrected in order to meet yearly objectives.
  • Conducting monthly reviews of group projects to ensure budget adherence and proper P&L cost/intangible asset capitalization.
  • Analyzing the Group’s indirect costs to ensure a thorough understanding of cost drivers and the identification of business units that are above budget.
  • Assisting with the consolidation of cost-saving initiatives across the group by reviewing and analyzing actuals versus targets and working closely with the Procurement team to identify, cost, and begin cost-saving projects.

THE PERSON MUST
