1). Assistant Farm Manager (Crop and Plantation)

Job Brief

  • To assist the Farm Manager oversee the vegetable crops and other cash crops production on the farm and coordinate daily processes and operations with an emphasis on financial results.

Responsibilities

  • Analysing existing operations, crops, staff, and financial documents and recommending improvements.
  • Preparing plans and schedules for planting and harvesting and ensuring staff understand expectations.
  • Ensuring seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other supplies are regularly restocked.
  • Responsible for liaising with appropriate agencies
  • Assisting with the recruitment and training of new staff members.
  • Collaborating with senior staff to prepare budgets and financial reports.
  • Building professional networks and keeping abreast of developments in agricultural science.
  • Scheduling repairs, maintenance, and replacement of equipment and machinery.
  • Ensuring all staff adhere to health and safety regulations.

Job Specification
Education:

  • B.Sc or HND qualification in Agriculture or Agricultural Sciences from a reputable institution.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience with vegetable crops and other cash crops production
  • Minimum of 5 years in management or supervisory level.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Familiar with international best practices of growing, cultivating, harvesting and storing crops
  • Capacity and experience to develop training manuals and also train subordinates
  • Knowledge of Animal Husbandry will be an added advantage
  • Compulsory knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Good problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Good people development, management and leadership skills.

2). Head, MEP

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Brief

  • The Head of engineering is required to oversee contracting operations covering the following areas:

Responsibilities

  • Air conditioning: Designs to include DX and chilled water system
  • Plumbing & Fire: This includes design and calculation of water supply and distribution and relevant fittings, sprinkler and other hydrant systems
  • Responsible for handling all design related activity and also project supervision, implementation and commissioning.

Requisite Qualification

  • Minimum of First Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institution or equivalent.
  • Project Management training and experience. Certification is an advantage
  • Possess basic knowledge of electrical installations
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and also other design software
  • Experience with techno commercial issues to include tendering, contract negotiation and Vendor Management
  • Must have theoretical design and site implementation
  • Minimum of 15 years work experience with evidence of at least three large projects related to the above in which he played a leadership role
  • Ability to design will be an added advantage.

3). Commercial Officer/QS

Job Brief

  • Commercial officer is required to prepare tender documents and quotations

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of Bills of Quantities, Schedules of Works, Specifications and all contract documentation
  • Preparation of preliminary estimates, cost plans and feasibility studies
  • Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities considering the drawings and specifications
  • Preparation of reports on new work and work in progress for cost monitoring and control, and for decision making.
  • Preparing and analyzing costings for tenders.
  • Assisting in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.
  • Site measurement for variation & valuation
  • Valuing completed work and liaising with the Finance/Account for payments.

Purpose

  • Provides technical service-related support for theorganization and ensure that all jobs are completed on time, within budget, and to customer specifications.

Job Description

  • Repair malfunctioning AC‘s and other equipments
  • Installations of Air conditioner
  • Install and maintain ventilation and refrigeration units.
  • Foster good customer relations and service at all times
  • Quality check equipment regularly to ensure everything is in working order
  • Perform peer-to-peer inspections on work performed by our other maintenance technicians
  • Create inspection and repair schedules
  • Advise purchasing manager during new equipment
  • Assist in on-the-job-training of newly hired maintenance technicians

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a structured organization
  • Must have city and gate trade test one qualification or it’s equivalents
  • Installations and repairs of large packaged system, split unit etc.
  • Installations and repairs of central air conditioning
  • Installations and repairs of VRF unit
  • Installations and repairs of industrial refrigerator equipment, cold rooms and factory refrigerator chillers.
  • Must have excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

Job Brief

  • The accountant is responsible for the day-to-day accounting activities.

Responsibilities

  • Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data.
  • Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
  • Responsible for financial planning, fund management recording of inflow and outflow with regards to the company’s operation
  • Presenting data to managers, investors, and other entities.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.
  • Hiring, training, motivating, and evaluating Accounts Payable staff members.
