Duties
The incumbent works in the CDC Motor pool unit. Incumbent daily coordinates, assigns drivers, and schedules transportation for CDC personnel and official visitors.
Qualifications and Evaluations
Education Requirements:
Completion of Secondary School is required.
Experience:
- Two (2) years of professional driving experience in the host country, plus one year of motor vehicle dispatcher or fleet management experience is required.
Job Knowledge:
- Good knowledge of host country traffic laws, vehicle licensing, registration, and procedures is required.
- Detailed knowledge of host country streets, traffic patterns, and commonly visited locations is required.
Language:
- Good Working Knowledge in English reading/writing/speaking is required.
Skills and Abilities:
- Must exercise independent judgment in setting work priorities.
- Must be able to identify problems quickly and determine the best course of action.
- Must be able to make effective and ethical decisions in the event of vehicle accidents to protect life and government property.
- Strong leadership, technical, and administrative skills.

Duties
Incumbent serves as a boat pilot for the Motor Pool and reports directly to the Motor Pool Supervisor, operating independently to ensure safe and effective utilization of our boats which carry up to 36 passengers per trip.
Qualifications and Evaluations
Education Requirements:
Completion of primary school is required.
Experience:
- Three (3) years of professional boat piloting experience on Lagos coast and near offshore waters is required.
Job Knowledge:
- Knowledge of outboard motor operation and maintenance is required. Knowledge of Nigerian and Lagos State boating laws and regulations is required.
Language:
- Good Working Knowledge in English reading/writing/speaking is required.
Skills and Abilities:
- Must have a current boat pilot/quartermaster license.
- Must have excellent boat handling skills in all local Lagos waterways, including the open ocean.
- Must understand boat and outboard motor maintenance procedures, including refueling.
- Must understand boat instrument reading and inshore and offshore navigation.
- Must understand boat safety procedures.
- Must be a strong swimmer and be able to swim 50 meters out and back in the open water.
- Must have the physical and mental ability to assist passengers in distress.
- Boat pilot must be able to lift/pull 50 pounds out of the water.

Duties
The incumbent serves as the Bodyguard (BG) Shift Leader (SL) and/or Agent In Charge (AIC) for the Protective Security Unit in the execution of protective security operations for the U.S. Ambassador/Chief of Mission (COM), and other designated or visiting U.S. government officials as directed. Under the supervision of the Bodyguard Supervisor and managed by the Regional Security Officer (RSO) to Consulate Lagos in order to protect him/her from harm and embarrassment.
Qualifications and Evaluations
Education Requirements:
Completion of High / Secondary School is required.
Experience:
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a commercial bodyguard, civilian or in the Nigeria police or military is required.
Job Knowledge:
- Thorough knowledge of defense measures to be used in the event of a terrorist attack, such as that learned in the military or law enforcement training is required.
- Knowledge in medical, fire, hostile attack, defensive, and emergency driving procedures is required.
- Must be familiar with Nigeria police services, military, security, and other government offices to ensure effective liaison and to facilitate effective protective operations, including advance and motorcade operations.
Language:
- Good working knowledge reading/writing/speaking English is required.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to take initiative and show resourcefulness in accomplishing tasks is required.
- Ability to deal effectively with people of other cultures to obtain cooperation and reach common goals is required.
