1). Maintenance Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • We are looking for a reliable Maintenance Manager to join our West Africa Operational Organization and based in Ewekoro, Nigeria, and you will be reporting to the Agreement Manager.

Main Responsibilities

  •  Plan, lead and manage daily maintenance activities at the plant and/or assigned team in order to ensure customer satisfaction and to reach set contractual quality, financial, cost and time targets.
  •  Ensure maintenance reliability and availability of the plant according to contract.
  • Ensure that the performance targets of the plant are reached according to the contract in own responsibility area.
  • Ensure competent resources and competence development of the maintenance resources and/or assigned team.
  • Ensure that the condition of the plant and equipment are according to applicable guidelines and policies and take corrective actions when needed.
  • Ensure that the work is executed at plant according to Wärtsilä Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures as well as assigned maintenance plan.
  • Implement Contract Management action plans, processes and guidelines in the assigned responsibility area.
  • Prepare reports, maintenance plan and budget as instructed by the Contract Manager.
  • Identify and actively seek to improve maintenance reliability and availability of the plant.
  • Follow-up and optimize the maintenance costs of the plant.
  • Develop the maintenance working routines at the plant.
  • Maintain good internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Negotiate and purchase materials and services for maintenance according to the plan.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the maintenance working routines at the plant
  • Development and improvement of the maintenance plan and all resources to its right implementation and administration.
  • Develop and train maintenance team members and ensure optimum performance at all times.

Requirements

  • M.Sc. / B.Eng. / B.Sc. in Mechanical, Marine, Electrical Engineering or equivalent

  • Several years of experience on Wärtsilä W18V50DF Engines is an added advantage.
  • In-depth understanding of maintenance management procedures.
  • Cost awareness & effectiveness Local legislations and labour laws Wärtsilä quality, safety, environment skills Workplace ICT equipment & applications skill.
  • Professional Skill Contract Planning, Operation Management and Maintenance Management.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

2). Shift Supervisor

Location: Cross River

Job Description

  • We are looking for a Shift Supervisor  to join our West Africa Operational Organization based in Calabar, Nigeria.

Main Responsibilities
As a Shift Supervisor, your daily duties include but are not limited to:

  • Gas Power Plant Operation and Maintenance.
  • Independently handling the Shift operations of Power Plant.
  • Starting of Gas Engines, Synchronization of engines. Island and Parallel mode of Operation with other engines.
  • Avoiding of plant black outs, In case of emergency situation must know to recover the power plant with minimum time during plant blackout situation.
  • Preparation of Shift, Daily, Weekly, and Incident Reports.
  • Starting and stopping of Engine Auxiliary equipment’s- Like, LO Separators, Starting Air Compressors, IA Compressors, LFO / HFOSeperators, RO Plant and Fire Hydrant Operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

3). Storekeeper

Location: Cross River

Job Description

  • We are looking for a Storekeeper to join our West Africa Operational Organization and based in Calabar, Nigeria, and you will be reporting to the Maintenance Manager.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Storekeeper, your daily duties include but are not limited to:

  • Receive incoming goods, check for damage and for discrepancies between goods, purchase orders and invoices.
  • Accurately sort, label, and store goods; arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
  • Pick and deliver goods according to relevant logistics process.
  • Pack, label and dispatch outgoing goods with relevant documents.
  • Maintain logistics data to relevant systems to maintain up-to-date stock and inventory records; retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries (for example on stock transfer, inventory levels or delivery schedules.)
  • Perform other routine office activities according to the organization’s established procedures. These activities may include updating stock cards and inventory records; and completing receipt, transfer, delivery, and dispatch forms.
  • To actively participate in the Continuous Improvement Process (developing quality, delivery, safety, and methods).
  • Keep the store or warehouse area in clean-cut condition according to guidelines to ensure work safety and ergonomics (5S practice). – Coach and develop other colleagues in daily work.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in a similar experience.
  • Proficient MS Office knowledge.
