Video Editor at Opetunde

• We are looking for a highly-skilled, detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team in Ikorodu, Lagos. This is a fully on-site role, and the right candidate must demonstrate proficiency, discipline, and an ability to meet tight deadlines with no room for excuses.

Position Overview: As a Video Editor, your primary responsibility is to produce high-quality video content according to scripts and guidelines. You will:

• Source and compile appropriate stock footage, images, sound effects, and music.
• Use text-to-speech platforms to create voiceovers and integrate them effectively into the video.
• Edit and refine the video content to ensure that it aligns with the desired narrative and style.
• Add relevant visual elements, such as lower-thirds, transitions, and background sound, ensuring a professional final output.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver videos that meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets without compromising on quality.
• Pay close attention to detail and precision when assembling media and creating videos.
• Work independently and remain focused to meet tight deadlines consistently.
• Uphold a high standard of discipline and professionalism with a results-oriented approach.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in video editing software like Wondershare Filmora, CapCut, or Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Strong ability to work with media assets to create engaging, high-quality video content.
• Results-driven, with a disciplined mindset and no tolerance for excuses.
• Must live in Ikorodu, Lagos, Nigeria.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
