Accountant
- Job Summary: The Accountant will manage the company’s financial records, ensuring accuracy in all financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and providing financial analysis to support management decisions.
Responsibilities
- Record and process daily financial transactions including payments, receipts and invoices.
- Reconcile account balances and Bank statements, verifying the accuracy of financial data.
- Provide ad hoc support around office as needed
- Conduct regular financial audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic planning.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to management, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, HND or OND in Finance, Accountancy or other related field
- Proven experience in sales or account management
- Professional certificates such as ICAN or ACAA is an advantage
- Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work both Independently and within a Team Environment
