Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Manager to oversee and manage farm operations efficiently.
  • The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in agricultural management, farm supervision, or a related role.
  • The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on knowledge of farming techniques, resource management, and agribusiness operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily farm operations, including crop production, livestock management, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement effective planting, irrigation, and harvesting schedules to optimize productivity.
  • Manage farm workers, ensuring compliance with best agricultural practices and safety standards.
  • Monitor soil health, pest control, and overall farm sustainability to enhance yield and quality.
  • Maintain farm equipment and ensure all machinery is in optimal working condition.
  • Handle budgeting, cost control, and financial planning for farm activities.
  • Ensure adherence to government regulations and industry standards for agricultural production.
  • Research and implement modern farming techniques to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, distributors, and agricultural stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Farm Management, or a related discipline is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in agricultural management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of crop and livestock production, pest management, and farm economics.
  • Ability to operate and oversee the maintenance of farm equipment.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in budgeting and financial planning for farm operations.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with farm workers and stakeholders.
