Job Title: Executive Assistant to CEO
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Executive Assistant (EA) to the CEO to provide high-level administrative, operational, and legal support.
- This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of the CEO’s office, optimizing executive efficiency, and supporting strategic priorities.
- The EA will be responsible for calendar management, executive communications, stakeholder engagement, governance compliance, and strategic project coordination.
- The ideal candidate should have strong research capabilities, particularly in legal, policy, and governance matters, to support informed decision-making and compliance oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Office & Administrative Support:
- Manage the CEO’s calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel logistics.
- Handle email correspondence, phone calls, and official communications.
- Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and strategic briefs.
- Document meeting minutes and follow up on action items.
- Maintain executive records, contracts, and organized document systems.
- Act as a gatekeeper for information and communications.
Strategic & Operational Support:
- Assist with strategic projects, partnerships, and initiatives.
- Conduct research, data analysis, and policy reviews.
- Draft and review internal policies, governance documents, and agreements.
- Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Legal & Compliance Support:
- Conduct legal and policy research for compliance with regulatory frameworks.
- Support contract and agreement drafting and review processes.
- Monitor governance and compliance requirements.
- Liaise with legal advisors and regulatory bodies.
Stakeholder & Board Engagement:
- Coordinate communication between the CEO and the Board of Directors.
- Draft and distribute reports, resolutions, and board documentation.
- Assist with presentations and briefing materials for key stakeholders.
- Support high-level engagements and external communication strategies.
Confidentiality & Risk Management:
- Maintain confidentiality of executive and legal matters.
- Enforce data protection and document security protocols.
- Support risk management through compliance enforcement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (First Class/Second Class Upper) in Law (LL.B), Public Administration, Political Science, Business Management, or related fields.
- Master’s degree and/or professional certifications (e.g., LL.M., MBA, MPA, ICSA, PMP, CIPM) are a strong advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting C-suite executives or senior leadership.
- Strong knowledge of governance, compliance, policy, and contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-level responsibilities discreetly and efficiently.
- Experience in nonprofit, development, corporate, or public sectors preferred.
- Familiarity with donor or stakeholder management is an added advantage.

Salary
- N350,000 – N400,000 Monthly.
