Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive collections strategy that aligns with MIM Finance’s business objectives and market dynamics.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing collections team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Innovation and Technology: Utilize state-of-the-art technology and data analytics to enhance collections processes, improve recovery rates, and reduce delinquency.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Ensure a customer-focused collections process that balances empathy with efficiency, maintaining our commitment to superior customer service.
- Regulatory Compliance: Oversee adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements and ensure the highest standards of ethical practice.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of collections strategies and implement necessary adjustments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Risk, Sales, and Customer Service, to ensure a cohesive approach to customer lifecycle management.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in collections management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the financial services sector.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in data-driven decision-making, and a deep understanding of modern collections technologies and methodologies.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading and motivating large teams to achieve strategic goals.
- Innovation: Demonstrated ability to implement innovative solutions and drive transformative change.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Compliance: In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in collections.
