Title: Account Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Preparing and reviewing ledger balances and monthly accounts
  • Completing company tax returns
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns
  • Handling overall company expenses
  • Maintaining and monitoring the company’s financial systems
  • Handling general account queries
  • Maintaining a record of all receipts and payments
  • Preparing Monthly Bank Reconciliation
  • Preparing Monthly, quarterly, and yearly management reports

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related area.
  • Minimum of 3 years of working experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Must be good with Sage 50 Accounting Software
  • Good experience in the application of IFRS in construction
  • Strong experience in the preparation of Management Report
  • Proven Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards
